How I help

Put simply, I advise senior executives who are either leading major transformational initiatives or undergoing significant career transitions themselves. Often both at the same time!

Drawing on more than 30 years of operating and leadership experience, I offer individual or team coaching for senior leaders and teams or a confidential sounding board for CEOs and Chairs.

Individual leadership coaching

Confidential 1-2-1 coaching for executives taking on a a broader remit, leading a high-stakes and career-defining initiative - or stepping into a bigger role.

Engagements might be 3, 6 or 12 months long - depending on what you want to achieve.

Typically:

  • A 3-month engagement will be best for addressing an urgent challenge or issue

  • A 6-month engagement is a useful timeframe for supporting you with a major project or initiative

  • A 12-month engagement is best for addressing your development and growth as a leader

Every engagement begins with a diagnostic phase which will include a detailed discussion about your goals, motivations and challenges.

Team coaching

For leadership teams managing major transitions, post-acquisition integrations, or structural reorganisations.

We start with individual interviews, a team diagnostic, and live meeting observation if appropriate and useful.

Engagements might be 3 or 6 months long.

Typically:

  • A 3-month engagement will be best for addressing an urgent challenge or issue in the team

  • A 6-month engagement is a useful timeframe for supporting the team with a major project or initiative

Sounding board

Advisory support exclusively for chairs and CEOs facing complex commercial decisions, board dynamics or organisational changes. 

We focus on real-time operational issues, governance choices and strategic trade-offs.

Engagements might be in the form of targeted support on a specific issue or as an ongoing, confidential sounding board.

Typically:

  • A short-term (3 or 6 month) engagement will be best to help address a specific challenge or event. This is charged as a daily rate for an agreed number of days over a set period.

  • A retainer-based service that provides ongoing support as you need it over 6- or 12-month periods.
