Individual Leadership Coaching
-
The time frame is entirely driven by your needs. If you're dealing with a specific issue or stand-alone challenge, we can probably address that in 3 months.
Six months is a better time frame for supporting you to lead a major project or initiative.
And 12 months works best if you are working more broadly on your professional development and growth. -
In-person meetings are preferable when feasible - especially during our onboarding and diagnostic phases.
I can meet at your office or a neutral location.
Online sessions work well too - and I encourage you to call or message me as needed between sessions. -
We agree on a schedule based on your requirements. Typically, we meet more often at the start of an engagement (sometimes weekly), and this may settle into fortnightly or monthly sessions later. Between formal sessions, I encourage you to contact me via WhatsApp, email, or by arranging a direct phone call when urgent decisions or issues arise.
-
We agree on and commit to a number of specific objectives at the end of the diagnostic phase.
We track progress against these goals throughout and at the end of the engagement. We use direct feedback from your sponsor and key stakeholders, and, most importantly, we assess how you feel about the change you have made against those goals. -
We adjust focus as we work together. You set the agenda; we concentrate on your goals and needs. The initial plan establishes a baseline, but we adapt objectives whenever your situation or operating environment changes.
-
In terms of business model, I only take on clients who are funded by their employer.
Pricing is based on the length of the engagement and whether we conduct the full 360 feedback and / or a standalone psychometric testing.
Team Coaching
-
Most engagements run for 6 to 12 months. We set the timeframe during the diagnostic phase based on the team’s challenges and objectives.
Engagements might be 3 or 6 months long. Typically:A 3-month engagement will be best for addressing an urgent challenge or issue in the team
A 6-month engagement is a useful timeframe for supporting the team with a major project or initiative
-
Team coaching works best for executive committees and leadership teams of 4 to 8 people.
-
The approach and timeline will be tailored to your team's size, specific needs - and availability!
Typically, the diagnostic phase lasts two to three weeks and includes individual interviews and, when appropriate, live meeting observation. The main work is delivered in monthly team sessions, supplemented by individual check‑ins.
-
We may include an offsite in the engagement.
Typically, a strategy offsite concentrates on the plan, while team coaching addresses how the group executes that plan, resolves friction, and makes decisions under pressure. -
Pricing is based on the length of the engagement, the team size and how many sessions will be needed (individually and as a group)
Strategic Sounding Board
-
Coaching focuses on personal leadership development and individual performance goals. A sounding board engagement focuses on real-time business decisions, governance choices, and board dynamics.
-
Depending on your needs, you can choose a short‑term, day‑rate engagement or a longer‑term, flexible retainer. Engagements may provide targeted support on a specific issue or ongoing, confidential sounding‑board guidance.
Typically:
Short‑term engagement (3 or 6 months): best for a specific challenge or event; billed at a daily rate for a predetermined number of days.
Retainer‑based service: ongoing support as required over a 6‑ or 12‑month period.
